Empathize

The process begins by immersing in the user’s world, observing, listening, and asking thoughtful questions to understand their goals, frustrations, and behaviors. User interviews, usability studies, and field research help uncover meaningful insights. Collaboration with researchers, product managers, and stakeholders ensures the team stays grounded in real user needs and perspectives.

Define

The team synthesizes what’s been learned to clearly define the problem being solved. User journeys are mapped, key pain points identified, and insights distilled into shared hypotheses and goals. This alignment clarifies the user’s core needs and outlines potential value. A strong problem definition ensures the team focuses on solving the right problem, not just building the next thing.

Ideate

Collaborative whiteboarding sessions drive exploration and generate a wide range of potential solutions. AI tools accelerate ideation by quickly visualizing concepts, exploring divergent directions, and surfacing alternative approaches. This allows the team to experiment freely, uncover new opportunities, and prepare ideas for rapid prototyping while preserving critical thinking and collaboration.

Prototype

Prototypes come to life quickly with AI tools like v0 and Cursor, which generate layouts, components, and data in minutes. This accelerates exploration, reduces manual work, and helps validate assumptions early. The goal is to learn fast and align the team before moving into detailed refinement.

Test & Iterate

Prototypes are put in front of users to observe how they interact, what resonates, and where friction remains. Usability testing drives rapid iteration based on feedback, refining the experience in close collaboration with research, product, engineering, and other stakeholders to evolve the solution.

Measure & Evolve

Once built and released, outcomes are tracked using a mix of usage data, user feedback, and team-defined success metrics. Cross-functional collaboration helps assess impact, uncover areas for improvement, and prioritize next steps. These learnings feed directly back into the product roadmap, ensuring the experience continues to evolve and meet real user needs in a changing landscape.
